The official duration is 24 months. Blended format: 92 hours of recorded theoretical modules and 182 hours of live online classes, alternating every two weeks. The program culminates in a three-part federal exam, which is taken in person in Switzerland. Requirements for passing: a final grade of ≥ 4.0; Part 1—no lower than 4.0; Parts 2 and 3—no lower than 3.0.
Preparatory course — 8,000 € (4 semesters at 2,000 € each). Federal Exam — 2,900 CHF (official rate for 2026). Late registration — 250 CHF. Application withdrawal fee: 300 CHF (no later than 6 weeks before the exam) or 400 CHF thereafter, if there is a valid reason.

Get adviceUpon successful completion of the federal exam, graduates are awarded the qualification “Professional Bachelor’s Degree, Specialization in Digital Interaction”—a professional with a federal vocational diploma (Brevet fédéral). The exam is administered by the industry organization ICT-Formation professionnelle Suisse, and the qualification is awarded by the Swiss Confederation. SIIL offers a preparatory course for this exam.

External experts evaluated the educational processes, the management system, internal quality assurance, and other aspects of the institute’s operations. The result was institutional accreditation by the IAAR (certificate AA 0298).

Admission is possible if one of the following three conditions is met: (a) a CFC in the field of commercial clerk, ICT specialist, mediamatic, or ICT operator (or equivalent) + at least 2 years of work experience involving the use of ICT; (b) a high school diploma (general, specialized, or vocational) or equivalent + at least 3 years of work experience using ICT; (c) a CFC in another program or equivalent + at least 4 years of work experience using ICT. Work experience is counted from the date the diploma was awarded.

Proof of education (CFC / Matura / equivalent) and professional experience. International applicants are responsible for obtaining their own visas and covering their travel expenses; SIIL can assist with the visa process.
Signing of the contract, access to the SIIL platform, and the start of the preparatory course. Classes begin on February 1, 2027.
