Do I have to be interested in DBA to attend?

No. The event is suitable both for those considering an MBA or a master’s degree and for those who simply want to learn more about SIIL and ask an alumnus questions—there will be a separate segment at the end of the livestream set aside for this.

Is there a fee to participate in the webinar?

No, the meeting is free. It will take about an hour, and if you'd like, there will be time for questions and an open discussion at the end.

Will there be a recording if I can't be on the air?

Yes—we'll send the recording via the same bot or channel where you receive the link to the live stream.

Is a DBA "less prestigious" than a PhD?

No, it's not a matter of "better or worse," but rather different degrees for different purposes: a PhD addresses the question of "what contribution to science," while a DBA addresses "how to use research to solve a practical problem." Both require a full-fledged dissertation and a defense.

Is an online diploma recognized?

It’s not the format of the program that matters, but rather the university’s legal status, its accreditation, and the regulations of the specific country or organization where the degree will be used—we’ll cover this in the webinar.

Is fluent English necessary?

The webinar itself will be in Russian. We’ll discuss the level of English required for specific SIIL programs on an individual basis after the webinar.
