SIIL is registered in the SEFRI federal registry as a provider of preparatory coursesPracticing professionals take the federal exam to demonstrate their professional competencies. The exam is developed by the industry’s professional association, not by schools, which is why employers recognize the title as an official qualification—the professional demonstrates real-world knowledge, not just classroom theory.
The exams are part of Switzerland’s federal professional qualifications system. The results are recognized by the federal agency SEFRI. SIIL is registered in the SEFRI federal registry as a provider of preparatory courses.
The exam itself is taken in person in Switzerland. SIIL provides visa support to examinees: it issues an invitation letter for visa purposes and helps them fill out the application form and gather the necessary documents for the embassy.

Late registration: 250 CHF. Withdrawal fee: 300 CHF (no later than 6 weeks before the exam) or 400 CHF (later, for a valid reason).
Responsible for the information security of the entire organization, regardless of its size. Collaborates with executive management and the board of directors, specialists, department heads, and external vendors to reduce information security risks to an established level, identify gaps in the strategy, develop measures, advise the crisis committee, and foster a culture of security.

In addition, a current certificate stating that the applicant has no criminal record incompatible with the profession is required.
Recorded theory modules + live online classes, alternating every two weeks. 274 hours of instruction: 92 hours of recorded material and 182 hours of online classes.
All instruction is in English. The federal exam is currently administered in German, French, or Italian (English will be available soon).
Exam sessions are held in person in Switzerland. International applicants are responsible for obtaining their own visas and covering their travel expenses.
The institute issues a visa invitation, helps students fill out the application form, and gather the necessary documents for the embassy.
